Chiron Squares Mars: The final exact square of this aspect peaks on March 26th. By the middle of March we will start to feel this transit again, but the circumstance is still present.
Chiron represents our deepest wounds and Mars our sense of action. What occurs here is a tension between wounded Aries nature and Cancerian emotional shedding charged by Mars’ shifting identity and purging processes.
Chiron in Aries means wounded primal abilities. Doubting one’s instincts, weak sense of identity, and aversions to the rawness of life. There could be an aversion to animalistic behaviors or places. Something like being grossed out by blood or animals and being triggered by it. Mars in Cancer is drawing forward action by way of nurturance. So this aspect could look like someone who’s grossed out by blood having to care for someone’s wound.
Furthermore, there are strong chances for overcharged displays of machismo mixed with the emotional intensity of Cancer. We must be aware of irrational behavior motivated by attempts to appear strong, dominant, or worthy. True strength is resilience and the ability to funnel our energy into productive means. As well, strength is seeking what we want in a firm, fair, and level-headed manner; accepting potential backlash or consequences with grace.
As we reconsider our goals and direction in life through this Cancerian emotional shedding we could find we have wounds around our identity, animal nature, and finding motivation. So look out for compensatory behavior and channel energy productively with clear goals based in clear selfhood. This will be more prominent for Cardinal placements [Capricorn, Cancer, Libra, Aries]
Mercury Stations Retrograde: The Planet of logic, thinking, routine and movement will begin it’s first Retrograde of the year starting March 15th, at 2:46 AM EST. The path of this Mercury Retrograde coincides with the path of the Venus retrograde; they will cover the same early degrees of Aries. So the revising of our aesthetics, partnerships, and lifestyle will be followed by revising our routines, habits, and thinking patterns with a highly direct correlation to the materials, events, and spaces of our lives. That correlation being related to our compromises. We could really deal will some releasing that changes your lifestyle. Selling something major like a car. Of course losing a major partnership or revisiting an old one and seeing that change or bring back old/existing habits. Our Aries house will be incredibly important here as it is where we will be making these shifts.
Additionally, the Mercurial shifts of this retrograde will tell us the themes of our Solar Eclipse March 29th as these two events occur at 9˚ of Aries.
Saturn Squares Jupiter: ***Currently, this aspect has little to no active tension, but their respective impacts on our lives and psyches do have a circumstantial tension.***
The expansion in our Gemini house contests with the solidifying of our Pisces house. On December 21, 2020 we had the Saturn Jupiter conjunction. This Square is the First Quarter Phase of this planetary alignment. The sprouting of seeds started in Dec 2020 is followed up with problem solving now. If you were gardening it would be like in July when you are at steps like ensuring the seedlings stand to survive to harvest; maintaining Tomato trestle structures or looking for early signs of powdery mildew. We had the first square on August 19th, 2024, when Jupiter moved through Gemini. In Jupiter's Retrogradation, we saw this aspect perfect on December 24th, 2024. We will see the final Saturn Square Jupiter on June 15th, 2025.
As this week progresses Mercury will enter Aquarius, and as the ruler of Gemini, Mercury’s movement will shift the nature of Jupiter in Gemini. The expansion of our Gemini house whose nature is objective and carefree will be able to actualize itself within the inventive approach of Aquarius. Jupiter and Mercury will both be in air signs which will provide more harmony between them. This Aquarius energy can better allow Jupiter in Gemini to utilize an objective, open-minded, and social value set. We will go more into Mercury in Aquarius later on.
On the Transit: Reflect on the relationship between your growth and your longevity. Growth demands we enter into novel arenas, and longevity demands will reinforce existing arenas. How are these two parts of life showing conflict? How do they require problem solving and reconciliation? Again, this should be relevant to things that began in December 2020.
The Gemini house is expressed as the teacher/student, the speaker/listener; through communication, channeling, and learning. It is objective, and we are expanding here. We are exploring different perspectives with an objective view. We are allowing ourselves to be aware we are wearing a mask. Check the relevant [Gemini] house. The Pisces House is expressed as a healer/victim/sick or the artist/artistic observer. The Pisces expression can require solitude, spirituality, or shows signs of escapism or substance use. This Pisces House is experiencing solidification, obstacles, and structure. Check that house as well.
How are responsibilities to our emotional healing causing delays or obstructions ? Or is channeled artistic expression conflicting with our search for new knowledge and experience through communication and/or learning? As Jupiter rules Pisces what we are discovering is how adopting specific attitudes toward growth despite their can help us resist falling into the need to escape life’s realities. We create our own reality, so why should we have to escape?
Sun Conjunct Saturn Trining Mars: The Saturn - Mars trine has been phasing in and out due to the Mars retrograde back into Cancer. The first exact on Sep 30, 2024 followed by the most recent peak on February 9th during the Retrograde phase. It won’t peak again till April 4th, 2025. Though the power of this aspect remains present; building slowly. Saturn in Pisces with a flowing and harmonious connection with Mars in Cancer, both water signs. The preservation of our mental health through our life’s structures is able to connect well with this reconsideration of our familial bonds through changes in our goals, actions, and identity. So poor mental health practices lead to emotional chaos. These watery processes have a natural alignment. Pisces dissolving the ego to align with universal love or just new cultural context– Cancer shedding old emotional impressions/engaging new impressions that change the foundation of the ego and establish new bonds.
The Sun will perfect it’s meeting with Saturn on March 12th. The entirety of these two weeks will encompass the Sun tightening up to Saturn, perfecting the conjunction, and phasing out. So this connection between our long-term structural goals with our short-term/self-preservation goals through emotional and mental well-being is greatly illuminated by the presence of the Sun. There is a stronger inclination toward self-assertion, but it is overall done with passivity. We may find our Vitality or a leader/authority is calling attention to the structure we need in order to support our Martian goals. So although frustrating there could be insight worth hearing. This could be a good time to seek spiritual guidance toward the hard but necessary parts of life that are described by the Malefic, Saturn and Mars.
By itself, Saturn and the Sun going conjunct will stiffen up our leadership principles. We might feel more demand from our superiors. We might feel restricted by them. For sure we will see some more harm from the political administration toward the working class. Like the classic facistic mode of scapegoating the downtrodden. Offering a victim mentality. As this has always been how Right-wing or conservative sphere’s have approached groups like the LGBTQ and or foreign ethnicities.
Sun Squares Jupiter: The King and his High Priest will be in this tense aspect which peaked the afternoon of March 2nd EST and will fade away by March 13th. We will likely see something related to the illegality and immorality of the Trump Administration contested by the courts. As well as the analysis of what they are trying to do. The general Republican process of gutting social programs and the public discourse that will ensue. Lots of opinions everywhere.
So the growth and reimagining of communication and locality that Jupiter in Gemini delivers is teased into more urgency by the leaders. One of the things I saw was the pressure to do an economic blackout of corporate business and only gather your goods from local (Gemini) sources. The Sun representing leaders is both the politicians gutting the working class encouraging community leaders to mitigate the harm. In Pisces, we have leaders who are lying victimizing manipulators like Elon Musk, or true humanitarians like all the community organizers. As well, we will see victim complexes and “mooching” mentioned around community support. The shadow side of humanitarianism, collectivizing, and selflessness is usually escapism, victim-complexes, leeching, and self-pity. So we have leaders (Sun) causing OR mitigating confusing situations and “unsureness” (Pisces), thus provoking the need to expand OR benefit from (Jupiter) local operations and narratives (Gemini).
Lunar Total Eclipse, in Pisces: Perfecting on March 14th, 2025 @ 2:54 AM EST, this Eclipse is nothing to take lightly. This will be the Full Moon culmination of the Pisces New Moon on February 27th. The manifesting power of our intentions has been elevated for quite some time with all this strong Pisces energy in the sky. We manifest consciously, unconsciously, through our shadows; we draw pain, pleasure, abundance, and everything else through our conscious and unconscious behaviors. What will the fruit that we bear look like? Dreams coming true? The body and spirit in alignment? Or crisis from a toxified body and/or spirit?
This Eclipse will bring heaviness. The karmic implications of victim mentalities, idealization, savior complexes, and spiritual baggage lead to tumult and insatiable hunger toward some truer desire. Look to the Pisces house in your chart. We are compelled to release something in the Virgo house in order to develop the Pisces House. This development demands accepting loss, facing our fears, and accepting restriction. This will allow a necessary trust and intuition to guide us. Guide us to those dreams and visions— and always remember: You can’t save everyone and people have to want to change for the better.
The Pisces Rising (Pisces 1st House) will have to release expectations of their appeal and/or a relationship in order to better engage the detoxification of the physical body with more structure to the life. Sometimes it’s better to simply accept a loss than keep fighting. In that loss, their is a victory and a testament to the willpower of the spirit over the egoic and emotional self.
The traditional ruler of Pisces, Jupiter, is in Gemini, where we will be actualizing this growth. We must be objective about our own loss and healing. Objective about what it will take to avoid chaos with instructions and no more vision than we can solely erupt within. Gemini process is open-ended, offers objectives without much vision; in contrast with Pisces, trust is critical. Pisces process contains much fear as it usually has only vision and no objectives. So there is a productive tension here that will allow us to be guided. Seek a mentor figure or someone to be accountable of you. A friend, teacher, God; in conjunction with your gut intuition. Expect to learn something.
For our Pisces Rising example, their Gemini 4th house will contain Jupiter, so they are actualizing their inner purification through their home life, and likely could benefit from ancestral work or going back to their roots. It helps for the Pisces Rising to find healthier ways of feeling held/nurtured and shedding their baggage.
Finally noting that the following Eclipse will be a Partial Solar Eclipse at 9˚ of Aries on March 29th. A New Moon. So the Eclipse points are still in Pisces and Virgo, but the Sun and Moon are not far away in Aries and Libra. You will feel the rebirthed refreshed newness and power of this Eclipse, steeped in Aries nature—the fertile soil spilling into the air of Spring.
The Sun will be making a conjunction with Neptune during this Eclipse, and will perfect that aspect on the evening of March 19th. This week and next, Neptune adds to the dreaminess of the Sun in Pisces. Creative inspiration is heightened, but we may be distracted by our imaginations. We may feel more compelled towards substance use for the sake of our our excitement. We may find fogginess, boundlessness, or rose-colored glasses toward leadership and our own expressive impulses.

Moon in Taurus - Mar 3-4: Ideas of art, care, and comfort develop following the New Moon. You are trying to practice comfort within some resistance rooted in a compromise of boundaries. Consider sharing where your needs are at with deep honesty.
Moon in Gemini - Mar 5-7: The body calls for movement. Internally, externally— consciously or not. Like hot air in a tight room, or a bubble about to burst. We seek stimulation and insight. We have something to say. We want something to happen. We are dealing with a problem given the First Quarter Moon Phase that begins the evening of March 6th.
Moon in Cancer - Mar 7-9: The Moon visits home, where she meets up with Mars for the first time since the Red Planet stationed Direct (Ended it’s retrograde). We will have an emotional initiation that reinstates a cycle of getting our needs met.
Moon in Leo - Mar 9-11: Dignity becomes a more compulsive priority. We are more sensitive about deferring to whatever incurs confidence. So if we’ve recently touched on needs we hopefully are not able express ourselves openly. helpful adjustments have been made. Expect to be making adjustments and spend time actively engaging with a new dynamic.
Moon in Virgo - Mar 12-14: Ends with the Total Lunar Eclipse. The inclination towards routine expectations is heightened. What do we serve? And what dedication are we chasing that has ingrained such beliefs of indentureship. What dream is this dedication inspired by? This Full Moon in Virgo by itself is indicative of a return on investment. At least progress if not profit. Even more so, at least ending a contract with your investment in tact. You have expectations from yourself, someone else, a job, a routine, or a mentor that will face critique, as well there will be expectations of you with subsequent critique. This is likely to sneak up on you, so have your story straight or plan to be honest.
Moon in Libra - Mar 14-16: Libra is a response in strategy and grace. If we are coming from this powerful eclipse we have quite the response to make. You have received new information and circumstances and the braining storming session has begun. Ask yourself what is important to you? You will ultimately go with your instincts and your attachments will guide these instincts.
Experiences of our karma twirl into refinement, purification, simplification, and being stripped bare. We are experiencing a lot of energy in the incredibly liminal space between Pisces and Aries. The end of a cycle simultaneously the beginning of another. Pisces, where we dissolve the self; Aries where we are at one with the self. These are just stories which we can relate to upon reflection. You are exactly who you are in every given moment because you create your reality. So this is about developing a conscious effort to optimize the mind, body, spirit so that when it’s time for action you have nothing holding you back from fulfillment.
We will be challenged with restriction from the higher ups. We will continue to see attacks on those who do not meet the status quo, those who are vulnerable, and women. Demands made upon us will make or break us. Remake us.
In this attempt of purification of the individual soul is the purification of humanity. We go into a sensitive place and remain vulnerable. So conscious effort is required to prevent us from simply harming ourselves more. The impartial quality of Jupiter in Gemini, ruling this Pisces commotion, will unfortunately allow for passivity during the attack on the working class (Pluto currently transiting in Aquarius). However, we will be engaged to develop more local support to compensate.
The following March 29th New Moon/Solar Eclipse will show a new identity and mission. How will the working class be disturbed by the show of support and loyalty to other nations like Russia and Israel while Americans suffer? How will this notion be used to bring people closer or further from unity? With Mars in Cancer we will eventually face an ultimate question. Who can I rely on to meet my needs and achieve my goals? We must align, so we must accept a loss and a cleansing.
Over the last few months I feel as though I’ve seen these groups indicative of the downtrodden (Left, Queer, Socialistic, working class) speak to a critique of infighting. Generally these groups can get stuck arguing exactly what justice should look like; ultimately disrupting unification. This is one of the common storylines for the downtrodden, and a version of their fate. Overthinking with no action can be incredibly Aquarius as it is an Air sign. A sign with Pluto, where we see manipulations and extremes occur. So we will continue to see this theme of purging the downtrodden sector towards more action (Pluto in Aquarius).
