Blood for the Water

Mar 17 through Mar 30

You can enhance your understanding by applying the Houses these signs and Planets are falling into in your Natal Chart. I am happy to help you with figuring that out, at no cost to you— just shoot me an email!!

Chiron Squares Mars: The final exact square of this aspect peaks on March 26th. By the middle of March we were feeling this transit again and that tension will peak this week.

Chiron represents our deepest wounds and Mars our sense of action. What occurs here is a tension between wounded Aries nature and Cancerian emotional shedding charged by Mars’ shifting identity and purging processes.

Chiron in Aries means wounded primal abilities. Doubting one’s instincts, weak sense of identity, and aversions to the rawness of life. There could be an aversion to animalistic behaviors or places. Something like being grossed out by blood or animals and being triggered by it. Mars in Cancer is drawing forward action by way of nurturance. So this aspect could look like someone who’s grossed out by blood having to care for someone’s wound.

Furthermore, there are strong chances for overcharged displays of machismo mixed with the emotional intensity of Cancer. We must be aware of irrational behavior motivated by attempts to appear strong, dominant, or worthy. True strength is resilience and the ability to funnel our energy into productive means. As well, strength is seeking what we want in a firm, fair, and level-headed manner; accepting potential backlash or consequences with grace.

As we reconsider our goals and direction in life through this Cancerian emotional shedding we could find we have wounds around our identity, animal nature, and finding motivation. So look out for compensatory behavior and channel energy productively with clear goals based in clear selfhood. This will be more prominent for Cardinal placements [Capricorn, Cancer, Libra, Aries]

Saturn Squares Jupiter: ***Currently, this aspect has little to no active tension, but their respective impacts on our lives and psyches do have a circumstantial tension.***

The expansion in our Gemini house contrasts with the solidifying of our Pisces house. On December 21, 2020 we had the Saturn Jupiter conjunction. This Square is the First Quarter Phase of this planetary alignment. The sprouting of seeds started in Dec 2020 is followed up with problem solving now. If you were gardening it would be like in July when you are at steps like ensuring the seedlings stand to survive to harvest; maintaining Tomato trestle structures or looking for early signs of powdery mildew.  We had the first square on August 19th, 2024, when Jupiter moved through Gemini. In Jupiter's Retrogradation, we saw this aspect perfect on December 24th, 2024. We will see the final Saturn Square Jupiter on June 15th, 2025.

As this week progresses Mercury will enter Aquarius, and as the ruler of Gemini, Mercury’s movement will shift the nature of Jupiter in Gemini. The expansion of our Gemini house whose nature is objective and carefree will be able to actualize itself within the inventive approach of Aquarius. Jupiter and Mercury will both be in air signs which will provide more harmony between them. This Aquarius energy can better allow Jupiter in Gemini to utilize an objective, open-minded, and social value set. We will go more into Mercury in Aquarius later on.

On the Transit: Reflect on the relationship between your growth and your longevity. Growth demands we enter into novel arenas, and longevity demands will reinforce existing arenas. How are these two parts of life showing conflict? How do they require problem solving and reconciliation? Again, this should be relevant to things that began in December 2020.

The Gemini house is expressed as the teacher/student, the speaker/listener; through communication, channeling, and learning. It is objective, and we are expanding here. We are exploring different perspectives with an objective view. We are allowing ourselves to be aware we are wearing a mask. Check the relevant [Gemini] house. The Pisces House is expressed as a healer/victim/sick or the artist/artistic observer. The Pisces expression can require solitude, spirituality, or shows signs of escapism or substance use. This Pisces House is experiencing solidification, obstacles, and structure. Check that house as well.

How are responsibilities to our emotional healing causing delays or obstructions ? Or is channeled artistic expression conflicting with our search for new knowledge and experience through communication and/or learning? As Jupiter rules Pisces what we are discovering is how adopting specific attitudes toward growth despite their can help us resist falling into the need to escape life’s realities. We create our own reality, so why should we have to escape?

Saturn Trines Mars: This aspect has been phasing in and out due to the Mars retrograde back into Cancer. The first exact on Sep 30, 2024 followed by the most recent peak on February 9th during the Retrograde phase. Then it won’t actually peak again till April 4th, 2025. Though the power of this aspect remains present; building slowly. Saturn in Pisces with a flowing and harmonious connection with Mars in Cancer, both water signs. The preservation of our mental health through our life’s structures is able to connect well with this reconsideration of our familial bonds through changes in our goals, actions, and identity. So poor mental health practices lead to emotional chaos. These watery processes have a natural alignment. Pisces dissolving the ego to align with universal love or just new cultural context– Cancer shedding old emotional impressions/engaging new impressions that change the foundation of the ego and establish new bonds.

Venus Retrogrades into Pisces: The planet of love will reenter Pisces; it’s home away from home. Somewhere she can better offer us arousal. Though this will be internally focused prompting us to re-dream what harmony looks like for us.

Mercury Retrogrades into Pisces: The Planet of logic and Movement will re-enter Pisces, a sign it functions poorly in. This is a dreamy artistic sign holding a logical and habitual planet. We are primed to be more creative with the mundanity of our lives. We are prompted to look into the meaning of small things and see the worlds within them. The routines can break down pretty effectively here, so be prepared to be thrown off course, go with the flow, to work with what you’ve got, and most of all use your intuition.

Venus Cazimi: March 22nd 9pm. Venus will be imbued with the power of the sun making this day ideal for Venusian activities. Self-care, love, sensual experiences, art, and social gatherings. Venus operates unconventionally and even poorly in Aries. So we will see some strong signatures of Venus that don’t usually fit the narrative, but will oddly work well. Like beautiful art that's something disturbing. Social situations that are heated, but manage to be diplomatic. Since Venus will be retrograde we will have extra power to process the reconsideration of our Venusian principles. What aesthetic choice may we want to shift? If we should get back together with our ex. How we can make this unconventional appeal work. How we can make ourselves feel better by first engaging with problems or pain. Epiphanies about authentic expression in our manners of appeal.

Mercury Cazimi: March 24th 4pm. Mercury will be imbued with the power of the Sun making this day ideal for mental processing, movement, cleaning, assessing the state of our routines and how to refine them. We will feel extra sharp and be able to process the Mercury retrograde impact better.

Partial Solar Eclipse in Aries: Perfecting on March 29th @ 6:57 AM EST this Eclipse brings extremely potent in fiery energy, down to the degrees. The March 14th Lunar Eclipse gave us a dream, creating a hunger, breakdown of our rigidity and perfectionism. This Eclipse will deliver a potent release and renewal to our Aries House. A House we are inclined to starkly defend, preserve freedom, and have permission to be ourselves. So it will be helpful to review what planets we have in Aries, and what House we have in Aries. With Mars ruling Aries, an extra step will be to see what your Mars is doing, as that is where you will ultimately actualize this Aries function. This Eclipse will be backed by the current fight for power. There is likely to be continued announcements of abuse by the current political administration. However, we seek freedom as a country. The problem is we are constantly getting a reckless version of what we manifest because these country sized manifestations contain everything in them. So we want to revitalize Food and Health in this country, but will have to settle for someone like RFK Jr. to spearhead this. These are bold Aries figures, backed by the breakdown and equalization of information; Pluto in Aquarius being in a medium aspect to this Eclipse. So in your own life, check whether your own self-assertion is a gross appropriation of justice or a stand for the preservation of your authenticity and right to exist.

Neptune Enters Aries: The planet of Illusion and Universal Oneness will make it’s first of three total ingresses into Aries. Meaning the Water God’s next 2 Retrogrades will move back into Pisces. Neptune spends time in Pisces from 2011-2026, so we are at a major transition in the Sky. Neptune in Pisces saw the breakdown and boundlessness of artistry, self-expression, spirituality, victimization, and infection. The collective awareness of items like gender fluidity, enough genre bending to see pop country blended with trap music, theories of timeline shifts, and the mental gymnastics for traditional white Americans to see themselves as the victim.

Neptune in Aries will breakdown and unleash the potential behind items like War, weaponry, identity, government structures, sexuality, masking, and achievement. We will continue to redefine the parameters of sexuality and gender expression. We will see shifts in the nature of government and power structures. We will see War on the basis of victimhood and deception of who exactly the victim was. We may see artistry depict war, horrors, battles, red hues, weapons, sex, and the body. I believe we will see the “masking” of self-expression unleashed as we continue to explore neurodivergence.

On a personal note, Neptune enters the Aries house and thus we will see a breakdown of those house significations subtly and gradually from 2025 to 2039 when Neptune enters Taurus for good.

Mars Uranus Sextile: Right at the end of this month Mars will be a strong Sextile to Uranus, which peaks on April 4th. This aspect will offer more energy to lead our awakening; our cerebral liberation. Allowing the desire for emotional satiation to help guide us into new structural and mental patterns that better support our needs.

*The date ranges reflect the Moon being a majority in the given sign during a 5am-11:59pm EST range. Moon Signs naturally set each other up for a successful procession through life's subtle developments. The Moon functions as a catalyst and distributor of the energies from the other Celestial bodies. You might take an extra note of when the Moon is entering important Houses in your Chart, like your First House/Rising Sign when you will be closely connected with your emotions.

Moon in Scorpio - Mar 17-19: The emotional nature will be more charged for passion, truth, secrecy, and exchange. This moon will see us receive and offer information or experiences regarding sensations and exchange.

Moon in Sagittarius - Mar 19-21: We are more inclined to create a feeling of freedom. The reception or giving of knowledge, insight, or experiences at first, developing into some frustrated releasing of a sense of guidance.

Moon in Capricorn - 22-24: A colder environment in which we will approach emotional impulses with less care. We can be inclined to show less empathy and must be more conscientious of abusing our bodies or others. These moons are good for objective decisions and cumbersome projects. These later dates will see the Moon oppose Mars and will prime some passionate interpersonal moments about needs and structure.

Moon in Aquarius - Mar 24-26: These Moons can also be cold, but are more cerebral. So objectivity in self-expression, sociability, and logistic analysis. Capricorn and Aquarius Moon can also be good for engaging in the kind of bodily care that is hard work, pushing yourself athletically for longevity.

Moon in Pisces - Mar 26-28: An environment which will feel vulnerable and push a stronger Dark Moon phase. We will feel little energy and a desire to cocoon or meditate. You might try to start your days with some mindful solitude and keep the body clean to maximize energy.

Moon in Aries - Mar 28-30: Initially we start to feel a sense of urgency, with a low energy frustration, but at the March 29th New Moon/Solar Eclipse we shift to a powerful sense of rebirth and realigned identity. The energy will build again with the Moon increasing in light. After the 29th you can really intend to feel the renewal of the Spring season even though we will be days into the Spring Equinox the morning of March 20th.

Moon in Taurus - Mar 30: The Moon will enter Taurus in the late afternoon this day. This will be a nice way to end the week. The Moon functions well in Taurus as self-care and familiarity are shared values of Taurus and the Moon. Allow yourself to find pleasure and relaxation. Or set some intentions to do so.

This set of weeks following the first eclipse will funnel us into renewal. We have been given a mission. It is time to make adjustments and intentions. Take advantage of the Cazimi’s to make plans. Be ready to feel a powerful sense of renewed spirit and intention to go with your natural instincts.

What must you be brave about? How do you get in your own way, and intend to break those patterns? How can you cultivate resilience?

There is a lot of commotion in the space between Pisces and Aries still .The end of the cycle, and the beginning of one. So we may feel as if we are coming in and out of self-dissolve/ego-death, and self-renewal.
