Sun Opposition Chiron; Square Mars: The Week starts with this T-Square still strong; immediately falling off the peak energy. Any feelings of inadequacy may be triggered by egotistical communication or imposing standards that conflict with your will and desires. For better or for worse, try not to have your self-esteem ruined by situations you really just didn’t have total control over. Also, impostor syndrome and/or feeling undermined. Part of the Myth of Aries, Jason and the Argonauts, is the hero Jason is leading despite him being less qualified than some other members in the party. So you take control; you be brave. Willing to balance your willpower and compromising.
Venus Opposition Uranus: This aspect peaks October 14th. Then drops off in strength in clarity the evening of October 17th when Venus enters Sagittarius. Creative inspiration and arousal comes from new people and things. We try something new like food, outfits, different kinds of people, matters of relating, etc. We may have seen an unexpected interpersonal event related to our property or finances. Maybe we get a little gift in our Scorpio house; possibly related to the Eclipse contract we signed.
Mars Opposition Pluto: This aspect begins to build in strength, but will not peak until November 3rd, however given these planets are comparatively slower the relevant events may be triggered by other forces like Moon transits and planetary days. We experience a face to face conflict about those Plutonian experiences. Plutonian matters are often hard to recognize. The point is that they are swept under the rug or taboo. How do you make long-term decisions that preserve your identity and sense of safety? What events have happened to you that altered your psychology and genetics? How do you play mind games or be manipulative? Where does sexuality and other deeper hidden desires direct you? In Cancer and Capricorn you may see your needs have to contend with your preservation of long-term stability in home or emotional relationships. Parental themes may come into play. More distinct for Cardinal placements [Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn], especially those with late degrees from 20˚-29˚ They are still experiencing more distinct transformative events.
This Week:
Venus Enters Sagittarius: Late afternoon on October 17th Venus enters Sagittarius; a fun place for Venus. A bit of a sapiosexual version of Venus. Arousal and connecting on the basis of intellect or philosophizing. Desires to explore, expand, or travel. Sagittarius placements are given a gift; big or small depending on the Natal Chart. By the end of the week Venus begins to Square Saturn bringing some compromise, artistry, and arousal to a serious situation, but not in the most graceful manner.
Mercury Trine Saturn: This aspect begins to build on the 15th and will peak next week. Mercury in Scorpio imports a sharp mental acuity to the seriousness going with Saturn in our Pisces House. We may feel inclined, but not compelled, to communicate efficiently and effectively or with reserve.
Sun Squaring the Mars Pluto Opposition: The truth of our actions may be illuminated. Focus on determining what needs are being met? Are these needs reasonable? You might seek alternative perspectives or an unbiased party.
Neptune Trine Mars: Neptune imports some illusory or highly empathetic energy toward action. So be sure not to get blinded in your actions and to take action with the intuition strongly considered.

Moon in Pisces - Oct 14-15: This Moon is vulnerable and energetically sensitive. There is spiritual guidance received from the moon’s function as a collector delivered into this Piscean space, the feminine expression of Jupiter. Saturn in Pisces adds a cold and dryness; we check in with our responsibility to emotional wellness that’s going on.
Full Moon in Aries - Oct 15-17: Noting the Eclipse Points are in Libra and Aries, but this is not an Eclipse. The Sun and Moon will be too far from the Eclipse points regardless of being in the same sign. We will really come face to face for the first time with the new beginning set during the October 2nd Libra New Moon eclipse. Co-existing, balancing of energies/wills. Review your Libra/Aries house associations if necessary.
Moon in Taurus - Oct 17-19: The 2nd home of the Moon, comfort and pleasurable activities become an easier focus. This energy is good for material elevation inspired by the subconscious. Decoration, purchasing, body work, self-care, having a get together.
Moon in Gemini - Oct 19-20: This Moon craves social stimulation and elevates all forms of messaging. This Moon will work off of Venus moving into Sagittarius to increase the desire for variety or experiences.
We are really entering Spooky Season here and there are subtle energies flowing all around. The Outer/Generational planets of Neptune, Pluto, and Uranus are all having contacts both with each other and faster planets. Consider how this election year developed both right in front of us and with what feels like a lot of facade. Trump is a felon, but who cares? Kamala didn’t have any real competition for nominee; that’s cool. RFK Jr. had to drop out, I’m sure that’s not sketchy at all.
Now maybe I’m just not that informed on politics, but this election year had a distinct tone unlike any other with less anticipatory build-up, less competitiveness, but all the same events, rallies, and debates.
This overarching oxymoronic energy of blatant subtlety seems like a good description of this week. Check in with your body more often than usual this week.
As I said: The Outer/Generational planets of Neptune, Pluto, and Uranus are all having contacts both with each other and faster planets. We are in a time in which major society altering effects are taking place. The precedent of public affairs, the weather, and the greater public value systems.
