From Last Week:
Mars Trine Venus: This aspect builds in strength, peaking on October 7th. These two will have a flowing energy between them. Mars may inspire Venus’ arousal, meaning momentum will be important in order to gather energy. Gathering and sublimating our energy will come from a deeper place. This inspiration will, more than usual, come from a subtle and intuitive place. Mars stimulates everyone’s neediness while Venus pulls inspiration and connection from a deeper place which warrants exchange or something owed. So there is a neediness commanding a deeper investment.
Again, Venus in Scorpio and Mars in Cancer are poor placements for them both, but this aspect helps mitigate that. Do not succumb to your own shame. View yourself with more respect and dignity, less judgment. Take a chance if you feel inspired.
Jupiter Trine Mercury: An easy flowing connection of main ideas to details. Philosophizing on the meaning of detailed observations. Ideas of justice and decorum come to surface.
Sun & Mercury Opposition Chiron; Square Mars: Any feelings of inadequacy may be triggered by egotistical communication. The imposition of other standards on your will. For better or for worse, try not to have your self-esteem ruined by situations you really just didn’t have total control over. Also, impostor syndrome, being undermined. Part of the Myth of Aries, Jason and the Argonauts, is the hero Jason is leading despite him being less qualified than some other members in the party. So you take control; you be brave. This energy will have affected the Eclipse from October 2nd.
This aspect will peak at the end of the Week when these three planets are all at 21˚.
This Week:
Jupiter Stations Retrograde: Station is the morning (EST) of October 9th. The expansions, growth, learning, and opportunities consider reorientation or we reflect on those recent experiences. Lasts till February 4th, 2025. So you wouldn’t stop learning, but you might find yourself changing some facet of a constant subject matter. Possibly a different area of the same study. Maybe after moving you reflect on having settled into an area, and think of what else you could be interested in.
Venus Opposition Uranus: Things could have already taken effect, especially during the Scorpio Moon from October 4-5th. Creative inspiration and arousal comes from new people and things. We try something new like food, outfits, different kinds of people, matters of relating, etc. We may see an unexpected interpersonal event related to our property or finances.
Pluto Stations Direct: The reconsideration of Plutonian themes ends and we move forward with recent decisions which may have changed the sense of what we want. Plutonian consciousness exists in a manner that is difficult for some to recognize. How do you make long-term decisions that preserve your identity and sense of safety? What events have happened to you that altered your psychology and genetics? How do you play mind games or be manipulative? Where does sexuality and other deeper hidden desires direct you? The Capricorn house gets its last Pluto direct in our lifetimes and Cardinal placements [Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn], especially those with late degrees from 20˚-29˚. They are still experiencing more distinct transformative events.
Mars Opposition Pluto: This aspect begins to build in strength, but will not peak until November 3rd, however given these planets are comparatively slower the relevant events may be triggered by Moon transits. We experience a face to face conflict about those Plutonian behaviors I just described. In Cancer and Capricorn you may see your needs have to contend with your preservation of long-term stability. Parental themes may come into play. More distinct for Cardinal placements [Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn], especially those with late degrees from 20˚-29˚ They are still experiencing more distinct transformative events.
Mercury enters Scorpio: This ingress occurs on October 13th, thus Mercury will be at critical degrees a couple days before where our communication transforms from being considerate to cautious. Communication becomes a number of things. Alluring, manipulative, sparse, and cautious. With Mars in Cancer ruling this Scorpio setting the emotional needs may influence this Scorpionic manner of communicating. This brings forward the often Scorpionic experience of having to learn to meet our needs without asking for them. The Scorpio house looks for more routine and communication, but it is a house often distrusting.

Moon Signs naturally set each other up for a successful procession through life's subtle developments. The Moon functions as a catalyst and distributor of the energies from the other Celestial bodies.
Moon in Sagittarius - Oct 7-9: This Moon leads the emotional body to feel free. We feel more inclined to seek experiences. We are more inclined to take up space for ourselves.
Moon in Capricorn - Oct 9-11: This Moon makes the emotional body more stoic. We become more pragmatic in decision making. With Mars in Cancer we will see a Moon Mars opposition potentially causing some inflammatory interpersonal situations between emotion and exertion of will. This will also trigger the Mars Pluto opposition and we could see something relevant to the power dynamics in our lives. Especially those dynamics relevant to the emotional and material structure of our lives. This will also be the First Quarter Moon phase following the New Moon Libra Eclipse. This brings problem solving following what was set in motion during the New Moon.
Moon in Aquarius - Oct 11-13: This Moon is also stoic and is objective for the sake of progress. The emotional body leads on more of a basis of authenticity and eccentricity.
Moon in Pisces - Oct 13: This Moon is vulnerable and energetically sensitive. There is spiritual guidance received from the moon’s function as a collector delivered into this Piscean space, the feminine expression of Jupiter. Saturn in Pisces adds a cold and dryness; we check in with our responsibility to emotional wellness that’s going on.
Our needs and the preservation of life commands attention this week. Mars warrants much influence and we follow up on the recent eclipse. This is definitely a week in which we could really “lose it” so just be honest with yourself first so you can command space with dignity and grace. What are we being asked to sacrifice or exchange? Does this feel fair? Find someone really objective to give you an outside perspective. Someone you can really open up to.
