Kickin’ up dust

Sep 30 through Oct 06

You can enhance your understanding by applying the Houses these signs and Planets are falling into in your Natal Chart. I am happy to help you with figuring that out, at no cost to you— just shoot me an email!!

From Last Week:

Saturn Trine Mars: This aspect perfected right at the end of Sunday (Sep 29). These planets use up our resources and thus are called the Malefics. Their contact with each other supports a connection between long and short term action or preservation. In water signs we may take steps to preserve our emotional sphere or take action on the basis of intuition. Ultimately the long term and pragmatic decisions will dominate the actions we take during this time. Saturn in Pisces will mitigate the more chaotic will of Mars in Cancer. Relevant impact to the Eclipse and Moon in Scorpio effect on the Grand Trine (which I will talk about).

South Node in Early Libra: Mercury and the Sun will have made their way by the South Node gradually bringing back the vitality.

Mars Trine Venus: This aspect builds in strength, peaking on October 7th. These two will have a flowing energy between them. Mars may inspire Venus’ arousal, meaning momentum will be important in order to gather energy. Gathering and sublimating our energy will come from a deeper place. This inspiration will, more than usual, come from a subtle and intuitive place. Again, Venus in Scorpio and Mars in Cancer are poor placements for them both, but this aspect helps mitigate that. Do not succumb to your own shame. View yourself with more respect and dignity, less judgment. Take a chance if you feel inspired.

Grand Water Trine pushes: The Trine from Venus to Saturn peaks midday on October 4th. This presents a challenging treaty to the foundation of your emotional expectations. Mars in close testimony adds heat. The Moon joins Venus in Scorpio creating the space for a convergence of divine feminine channeling. Exposing, kicking up dust, having hard conversation, the using up of stored energy. This represents very literally. Consider how the status of your space reflects your mental state. Especially using the Mercury Cazimi to make intentions; this is when you may best gather the energy to dig into whatever type of event this holds for you. We stand to gain something for what we are willing to give up. This could be financial, emotional, or substantial.

This Week:

Mercury Cazimi: The Sun and Mercury get real tight super early the morning of September 30th, letting us wake up into a boost of mental fortitude and sharpness. In Libra our tact and energetic awareness is elevated into logical and logistical analysis. We may be able to find the right words, the right arrangement, the right harmony. This is a good time to have conversations, journal, work on your routine, redecorate, rearrange, or get creative. Work on your website, space, projects, or relationships. You really may just meditate on these things today; take some notes. Especially that morning.

Reminder the South Node makes this a bit energetically underwhelming, unless the process of lightening and releasing gives you levity. Venus in Scorpio, ruling this Libra aspect creates a difficult foundation for tactful and graceful changes. Though it channels this energy into places that are often overlooked or generally taboo.

Jupiter Trine Mercury: An easy flowing connection of main ideas to details. Philosophizing on the meaning of exact measurements. Ideas of justice and decorum come to surface.

Chiron; Sun Opposition Chiron: Any feelings of inadequacy may be triggered by egotistical communication. The imposition of other standards on your will. For better or for worse, try not to have your self-esteem ruined by situations you really just didn’t have total control over. Also, impostor syndrome, being undermined. Part of the Myth of Aries is that our hero Jason is leading despite him not being the most qualified in the party. So you take control; you be brave. This energy will lightly, but prominently affect the Eclipse October 2nd.

*The date ranges reflect the Moon being a majority in the given sign during a 5am-11:59pm EST range. Moon Signs naturally set each other up for a successful procession through life's subtle developments. The Moon functions as a catalyst and distributor of the energies from the other Celestial bodies.

Moon in Virgo - Sep 30-Oct 1: This Moon brings up emotional residue in a space keen on order. We may be sensitive about the status of our routines and space.

New Moon Solar Eclipse in Libra - Oct 1-4: The Eclipse is on October 2nd; 3:00 PM EDT. This will be conjunct Mercury, giving a blend of Mercury Cazimi hyper-clarity and Mercury Combust blinding Solar energy. Explanations on Cazimi and Combust. This Eclipse will bring challenge and change to our interpersonal dynamics. Likely by way of our professional life and professional image; the long-term planning. We release idealism to give way to a sense of creative autonomy and willpower. This New Moon sets deep intention in the Libra House before the Eclipse points leave the signs of Libra and Aries.

Moon in Scorpio - Oct 4-6: Again, this Moon wakes up the Grand Water Trine; Venus, Mars, Saturn. These moons are highly protective and gather power over us quickly. Consider what makes you protective.

Moon in Sagittarius - Oct 6: Only for a beat the night of October 6th. In contrast to what we are protective over— where are we keen on freedom to grow?

Shake out your welcome mats. Maybe do some cleaning. Donate or sell something. Get something off your chest. Burn something? <safely>

Now in all this letting go we still have to pay respect to the merit of following someone else’s lead when you simply cannot benefit from speaking up. You are not in a power position; you may even cause harm. Libra is a sign of justice and success in judicial progression demands strategy.

Be wary of getting so triggered that you expose something that disrupts the current structures and divine orders of your life. Conversely, this could be taken advantage of for diplomatic affairs.
