Venus Cazimi to start the Week; the night of June 4th, 2024: A great way to start the week. A planet is Cazimi when it is within 1 degree or 17 arc minutes of the Sun. The functions and qualities of the planet become greatly exalted by the Sun’s light and the planet offers its blessings. With Venus we will strongly channel an eye for beautification, aesthetics, and diplomacy. We feel more in touch with our natural abilities. We may receive some good fortune within our bodies or from others. In Gemini, this blessing more likely manifests with local travel, acquiring knowledge, or communication. There may be a beneficial interaction with the local environment, siblings, or friends. A logical approach to love and beauty supports productive conversation, practical use of the equipment we use everyday like vehicles, nimble planning. with others.
Saturn in Pisces squaring the planets in Gemini: As I will keep reiterating, Saturn in Pisces holds a responsibility to the dream. To true devotion. Long term commitment toward elevating the human experiences through art, science, medicine, and spirituality. This Saturn Squares Gemini, which is a tension of dreamy Pisces mentality with logical Gemini mentality. Saturn strongly holds us to dreamy elevating selfless commitment and will bring forward consequences for delusion and escapism. Gemini consciousness demands freedom with an affinity for short term commitment. So with the Sun, Venus, Jupiter, and Mercury experiencing this square we feel that strong tension. Our awareness, desire, attention, and inner guidance want to apply logical framework. This conflicts with a sense of purpose that wants to apply an imaginative approach. Ultimately we must listen to Saturn lest we want an audience with the reaper for something more costly. So hold yourself to the recent purifying commitments you’ve had to make over the last year and some months. The Gemini need for variety will need satisfaction. So satisfy boredom without sacrificing commitments. If you have had to start a new practice like a diet, exercise routine, or holding a perspective— try to refresh things. New recipes, revamp or change spaces, meet some new people.
More on the Gemini Pile-up: Mercury has just entered Gemini which creates more mental sharpness as Mercury functions well in this Sign. Mercury will be conjunct Jupiter immediately which will bring together the big and small in terms of movement and mentality. We can better consider the big ideas, big plans, expansion, and imagination with the details, step-by-step, and logical frameworks. Imaginative thinking will more readily be met with logical thinking. A drag for big optimistic dreamers; for the worrying type, you can worry faster and find a solution faster.
The Sun and Venus in Gemini will crave variety that can refresh the beauty and creative places in our lives. Find new connections, spring clean, refresh spaces or parts, trying new techniques or equipment. Small changes can be greatly inspiring. Such is the function of Hermes the Messenger God to make large impacts with small well timed efforts. Perspective changes are also available as ideas count as technology; new processes count as technology.
Mercury rules Gemini and thus is ruling all the planets in the sign. The God Hermes, Greek equivalent to the Roman God Mercury, has his clear logical messenger function. He also has a discreet domino-effect kind of strategy he implores. This combination of planets can bring some amazing genius moments of function and form. Small changes to perspective, method, or literal equipment are supported by a sharp discerning mental boost in the energetic signature.
Mars moves into Taurus: Mars moving from Aries to Taurus is an incredible drop in functional strength for Mars. We will get less energy from goal-seeking and the feeling of dissatisfaction. As Taurus associates with our material goods I do see Mars bringing some trouble to the matter of our “stuff”, self-worth, cash flow, etc. Mars here will trigger people’s need to respond to stress with pleasure-seeking. Mars in Taurus will see some tension to the earth crust and foundations. Events of literal or metaphorical natural disasters especially once Mars gets closer to Uranus. Mars will meet Uranus on July 15, 2024 which can seriously shake things up. Sudden shifts to the Taurean foundational layers, shifts to leadership with Mars, and rude awakenings. More prominent for fixed signs [Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius].
Mars Square Pluto: We will feel an acute call to action with more influence from Pluto’s unconscious and slower call to action. Again Pluto is in retrograde in Aquarius, so the collective desire to seek equity and authentic expression through any means necessary is shifting orientation as it puts pressure on Mars. Mars in Taurus has a sharper inclination to find a sense of stability and security on a material plane; this is its goal. This aspect will bring forward the problem between short term self-centered material security with long-term deep rooted problems with social equity among communities. With Pluto’s retrograde this tension will be applied more toward reorientation of social efforts. Subjects like the allocation of resources, conflicting interests among leaders, sexual tension, and patterns of force. This of course also happens on the individual plane. Your unconscious conditioning and fears slightly change during this Pluto retrograde and will more directly affect this self-centered material security that comes with Mars in Taurus.

The Moon in Taurus - June 3-4: Mars will not be in Taurus during these days, avoiding anymore inflammation. The Moon loves Taurus, we can prioritize self-care here as our emotional body can better be in touch with the 5 senses. Check-in. Do some wellness practice. Since the Lunar function operates well there is more sensitivity for better or worse.
New Moon in Gemini - June 5-7: The Emotional body is more in touch with the mind; with the nerves. Speaking from the heart. Intuitive movement in space or decision-making. This will be a New Moon on the morning of June 6th. A new intention set in our Gemini house with the characteristics of seeking variety, communication, and local travel. Venus will be conjunct this New Moon, making for a more loving environment to set intentions. Along with Mercury and Jupiter in this space, there is a strong energy behind this New Moon. It will still have the tension from Saturn. This New Moon will be good for setting an intention that balances the imaginative and logical mind. The desire to experience variety in life, but consider your sensitivities. To know what control you don’t have, but still feel you are steering the ship.
The Moon in Cancer- June 7-8: The Moon’s home. The emotional body is attuned and the emotional nature is non-linear in function. Non-linear is a good phrase that can be irrational without that negative connotation brandished to feminine figures. These days offer more of the emotionally led non-linear movement through time and space. Mars in late Aries may create some tension on the 8th.
The Moon in Leo - June 9: The playful sort of environment that is also rather non-linear, like Moon in Cancer, but seeks more dignity. The Moon in Leo creates a space for joy. Mars in Taurus may create some tension here.
The intention setting I wrote in the Gemini New Moon section is a solid summation of what this week will be strongly rooted in. Setting into the energies gathering in the Gemini House where we can really engage in mental agility. This week still persists with many points of tension. The Sun extends its bright rays over Venus and Mercury making their functions harder to more consciously engage. This is the planet being combust. This is to say arrogance or overconfidence may affect logical or diplomatic approaches. Maybe we think we are being charming and then suddenly our foot is in our mouth. That’s where Saturn in Pisces can help when it tells you not to gossip or use empty words. Saturn in Pisces brings forward a responsibility to spiritual devotion and reinforcing our lives with real spiritual protection.
Mars’ movement will keep us on our toes. I really can see some material stress potential. Check up on your equipment. Check for wear and tear. Check on yourself and whether your rudimentary processes in life are sustainable.
There is a magnificent opportunity here. Pisces generally suffers from a tendency to idealize situations and employ too much weight to some solution or idea. Pisces must reconcile with doing the simple small work, shadow of Virgo. With All this Gemini energy there is a great presence of the God Hermes. What did I say before? Hermes has his clear logical messenger function. He also has a discreet domino-effect kind of strategy he implores. The domino effect doesn’t happen without the clear logical function. The next few weeks present some opportunities to channel small shifts that lead to great things.
