Last Week’s Cazimi: I left out the Jupiter Cazimi that occurred about 2:30 pm EST on Saturday, May 18th. A planet is Cazimi when it is tightly conjunct the Sun, within either 1˚ or 17 arc minutes. The Sun’s rays imbue the planetary functions with luck, invigoration, and clarity. With Jupiter we get a boost to teaching ability, to understanding, to spiritual practice, and getting in touch with our guiding principles.
Sun Enters Gemini: We begin Gemini season which shifts the expressive waking consciousness into a logical and adaptive sense. We should feel established and stable from Taurus season and now we can think about environmental engagement. Towards the end of Taurus season we’ve started to see much more of that movement in the plant and animal life. Flowers blooming, pollinators, slugs, bugs, critters, and various weather. Gemini season starts us switching over from Spring to Summer. Things begin to dry up and then affirm into the form and function offered by Taurus— the social engagement of this air sign will persist.
Sun Trine Pluto: There will be an undercurrent of flowing transformative energy into the consciousness. The flowing power of our deeper desires and fears influence the masculine and solar consciousness. We feel more inclined to apply our inner and outer resources to transform our lives.
Venus conjunct Jupiter: Venus and Jupiter will continue to bless the Taurus House until later in the week when they both enter Gemini. Take advantage to ensure you have established good habits for wellbeing and opportunities for growth in this Taurus House. These planets will then move into the Gemini House where they will bring their inclination for health and wealth. Be wary of over-indulgence as well. These planets can be pleasurable, but excess leads to problems. The sweetness of Venus can create dependency or diabetes. The expansion of Jupiter can create foolishness or tumors. So funnel your blessings into productive means and if you’re having problems with excess or indulgence, let’s talk.
Venus Enters Gemini: Connection to others, love, pleasure, and harmony become more inclined toward varied experience. We become more open to short ventures outside the comfort zone. We may become more talkative or feel more desire to stir things up.
Venus Conjunct Sun: Venus will be under the Sun’s ray, or combust where its operation can be less noticeable. Like too much light affecting the eyesight. When this happens the intuition, repetitive motion familiarity, and other senses must come in for support. With the Sun and Venus in Gemini we will be making our local and varied connections like the bees finding pollen, doing their little duties. Be aware of your sense of desire and egoic manner. You may find yourself too far out of your comfort zone. This can be fun and necessary, but bring sunblock and don’t text your exes out of boredom.
Jupiter Enters Gemini: There is more optimism and enthusiasm for the logical process of Gemini. A bit of a paradox; to become more philosophical about logical manners. Jupiter is considered in detriment in Gemini and thus warrants a more creative and unusual method of expression. There is growth and expansion in the sectors of computers, communication, local transit, and mental health. I’ve met many fantastic Gemini practitioners in the wellness & spirituality industry. These individuals are wonderful at adapting themselves to support their clients. This is a great power of Gemini, social adaptability. With Jupiter here institutions sharing some common subjective framework (cultures, political bodies, religions, regions, and statehoods) are more inclined to intermingle with each other. There is the local blending we usually see with pollinators on a local scale, on a larger scale. Both mentally and physically. An example, we see the more conversational or legislative process for the Middle Eastern conflicts.
Saturn Sextile Mercury: Saturn imposes that commitment to the Pisces dream onto our daily habitual process.

The Moon in Sagittarius - May 23-25: A Full Moon! The Sun is now in Gemini and we see our first lunation quickly this Gemini season. The power for mental agility is high. Speak to the heavens, write things down, make a trip.
The Moon in Capricorn - May 25-26: Emotional nature becomes more stoic and pragmatic. Good days for logical decision making. Good days to get some work done.
I hope you are feeling established and affirmed to apply your natural abilities; feeling a better grasp on your sense of comfort and stability. It’s okay if you still feel you are trying to get your footing. The Jupiter conjunction with Uranus had brought us some kind of new technology in the Taurean center. As we move into Gemini season the focus moves from the body and senses to the mind and logical sense. Your mental agility would be supported by your physiological comfort and security of resources.
