Aries Total Solar Eclipse: The Eclipse will be visible between 2-4:30 PM EDT. There Aries house of our charts will experience the release of a pressure that has been building since October. This Eclipse triggers any inner wounds that hinder willpower. We may have healed those wounds and constructed a lifestyle that supports us, but wounds can reopen, new wounds can be made. It is important to contain the Libran power of diplomacy and grace. Retain a strategic sense in order to quell any excess aggression. This is to say if you must be in battle mode for your life right now do so, but steel should be for building and protecting until offense is absolutely necessary. Mercury Retrograde will make for frustrating circumstances like mistakes, delays, miscommunications. This absolutely presents the possibility for a mess; maybe that’s what needs to happen, but if you’re reading this you seem to be the type that likes to be prepared. Invoke patience and humility; invoke strategic-mind. This Eclipse invokes the claim to territory and sovereignty with Aries. What is it that you are trying to claim? Is this exchange between you and other parts of yourself? You and work? You and a lover?
Sun Conjunct Chiron: The Sun creates more awareness of the inner wounds. There may be more expressions of the wounded nature. There may be repression of the expression due to the wounded nature coming up, then potentially followed by outbursts. This would be more pronounced for Cardinal Signs [Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn].
Mars Conjunct Saturn: I am adding the same statement from last week along with some more points. This week this conjunct with perfect. It brings together our calling and our purpose. This will be a good time to review how well these two facets of our lives are interacting. The birth chart can clearly show how well you are able to blend these two functions. How well these energies naturally blend is based on whether your Natal Mars and Saturn are making good connections. By aspect or rulership. This conjunction has Mars engorge Saturn's need to create long term success and stability, thus creating a need to review how our steps guide us toward the ultimate destination.
So as this is a conjunction there is a reset, New Moon phase, of Mars and Saturn. Have intent around the use of your energy and commitment to your goals. With the conjunction in Pisces there may be the sense that we are fortifying for the defense against a powerful force due to the Pisces house being a sensitive area.
Mercury Conjunct Sun/Mercury Cazimi: The Cazimi perfects at 7:00 PM April 11th. When planets get within 1˚ of the Sun they are considered Cazimi; the functions of the planet are greatly exalted as if they become a lens filter over the Sun’s light. We experience the Sun’s luck, fortune, creative genius, and great confidence within Mercurial functions of logistical/logical sense, manual dexterity, habitual nature, and editing. Mercury helps us figure out how to make things work, bring things to form, and communicate what is in our mind. One historical image is the opportunity to voice oneself (Mercury) directly to the King, in his throne room (Sun). We have this meeting with ourselves and may get the opportunity to do so with a superior. These are great days for taking the creative process and giving it life, doing some local travel, and having conversations. The caveat is that Mercury is retrograde, so the Mercurial sense is still inward and our connection to daily repetition is blurred. So this Cazimi is best applied for finding ways to improve and invigorate the mental and manual processes of our daily life. This is a good day for inward reflection and epiphanies about the self. Part of the power of Mercury comes from an impartial nature that offers that logical genius.
Mars & Saturn Sextile Jupiter & Uranus: We are given the opportunity to explore new ideas, technologies, and methods to apply toward our sense of direction, motivation, sense of stability, and worry. A possible sense of impending doom or fantasy (Pisces) motivates a conception of great pleasure and wealth (Taurus). This match-up requires a lot of brain power, but the energies are great for conceiving what life could be like in both elevated and realistic manners. Think about your obstacles (inner and outer) and try to have a break-out idea of how to solve these problems. The solution may appear very simple given the Taurus signification, although the problems may seem too complex to even really grasp given the Pisces signification.

The Moon in Aries - Apr 8: The Eclipse. Aries is quite sudden, so if you aren’t going to be able to quell impulsivity, claim an intention devoted to betterment. If you can’t hold back, aim true.
The Moon in Taurus - Apr 9-11: A comfortable place for the Moon. Be. Eclipses are stressful, so take the time to reflect on your resources and engage in real self-care as opposed to just indulgence.
The Moon in Gemini - Apr 11-13: Good days for civility and conversation. If some intense words were exchanged on the 8th, this is the day for the follow-up. Good for little trips too.
The Moon Cancer - Apr 13-14: The Moon's home and where the emotional nature will be guided toward safe privacy in which it can shed and renew.
This week is going to start with everything and then coast on the energy. An extra step you can take is to reflect on the Eclipses from October on the 14th and 28th to get a better idea on what you are following up on. With Mars in Pisces and Mercury Retrograde it will be hard to feel grounded into reality during this week. Find the line between having boundaries and enabling hypersensitivity. Find the line between standing up for yourself and being dogmatic. People can have trouble telling the difference between these things and certain people demand to be met with more assertions.
