Uranus Trine Venus: Peaking on Tuesday, this energy will have been building since last week. A flowing and tempered import of electricity and inventiveness upon our aesthetic and artistic sense. You may feel inspired to adventure in your taste upon earthly matters. For me I broke out the fun outfits last week since it suddenly got cold enough.
Mercury Stations Direct: The evening of August 28th Mercury stations direct. 21˚ of Leo. Uranus will still be Square Mercury here imposing a more harsh irking for electricity and inventiveness upon our communication and manual dexterity. So consider how your routines and thought patterns have shifted. How are your manual and vocal patterns shifted, and given Leo how does it relate to your form of expression? There may have been some surprise here and you may have set up some new boundaries for yourself.
Venus Enters Libra: The morning of August 29th Venus enters Libra. I was talking to my Venus in Virgo friends about the beauty of Venus moving from Virgo, which it dislikes, to Libra, which it likes. My Venus in Virgo friends are the type to achieve beauty by first de-stressing, drinking water, and sleeping well. Then they will exfoliate; I would never expect them to get plastic surgery, but I am not judging there. Virgo is a sign which removes the unnecessary, and adding botox just doesn’t fit that bill. Once Venus enters Libra it comes into full power from a place where all of the unnecessary things have been removed. This shift will allow Venus to offer all of us more arousal, desire, and thus energy. Venus in Virgo means scarcity of arousing energy, so we’ve had to cut back and work in order to gather that energy. So your lifestyle and body should be in order to maximize what will be a erotic renaissance. Revel; and watch the overindulgence. This is a harsh and potentially triggering example, but there is that all-too-common anecdote of a junkie relapsing and being highly susceptible to OD-ing. That is the worst version of this worst case scenario. You really just want to mindfully channel your energy here as usual, but be aware of the burst.
Sun Opposition Saturn, Mutable T-Square: This aspect remains in medium strength this week and peaks next week. Sun in Virgo, Saturn in Pisces. We will meet delays and seriousness to our vitality and creativity. We may see the harsh authoritative version of our leaders and bosses. For one, the political smear campaigns are revving up. Again these are in Mutable signs. [Gemini, Pisces, Sagittarius, and Virgo] Jupiter remains in more of a close mathematical aspect in the middle of Gemini, but Mars in late Gemini is still present. Our Gemini house is so very busy and balancing attention to the Virgo and Pisces Houses is difficult. In this case, authoritative forces impose boundaries, possibly victimhood, which cause delays and stifle creative flow. The Sagittarius house and consciousness can bring balance. Remain faithful and connected. Feel immersed into your cultural context. Optimism goes a long way.
Neptune Square Mars: The Square imposed by Neptune retrograde in Pisces onto Mars pushing into the late degrees of Gemini will likely be too subtle for most to notice. This can be like mold in your house making you sick; just a metaphor. Some form of elevating or purification is needed which creates a need for action. This will perfect early next week. Contamination, self-victimization, as well as bursting magic and purification of your energy. Maybe it has to get worse to get better, but you can also be proactive. Research/innovation and a discerning eye will be needed in order to be proactive. Cleansing rituals and actual cleaning.
Venus Opposition Neptune: This aspect will perfect next week. It creates some idealizing of the relational, financial, and artistic mechanisms. We may meet another person or situation in victimhood which demands criticism. We may see the beauty in loss. Just let things be how they are, especially yourself.
Uranus goes Retrograde: Middy September 1st Uranus stations Retrograde. The procession of the conscious collective’s intellectual and structural side moves from forward progression to the reconsideration period. You may notice in your Taurus house a personal version of this event. In Taurus these events can be very structural and even be distinct to your possessions and property. These events disrupt the current forms and structures of our lives.

The Moon in Gemini - Aug 26-27: Chatter in the mind let on by what dwells in the lunar body. These days are more chatty and nimble, highly influenced by what dwells in the emotions.
The Moon in Cancer - Aug 28-29: The home of the Moon. These days are best for that feminine molting process. Shedding. You may go home-body mode.
Moon in Leo - Aug 30-Sep 01: After shedding we feel more elated and confident. I do hope that for you. These days are better for entertainment or deeply channeled creativity.
As I’ve gotten this one out late this week I had a chance to sit with the Gemini Moon Sunday night. Now the Moon went into Gemini about 12 AM; I woke up right about then with what would be a Jupiter ruled night, Moon ruled Hour, during the Gemini Rising chart. Regardless of what that means, let’s just say the mental chatter of Gemini and the planets in Gemini were powerful. I could barely get my mind to stop racing for 10 seconds.
The first thing on my mind was the story of the Parisian pickpockets trying to steal from Americans and finding out how aggressive we can be. Imagining how I would respond to that situation. Pickpocketing as it relates to the international is such a perfect manifestation of Mars with Jupiter in Gemini. Pickpocketing is a good Mars in Gemini description as it is a survival or criminal action which demands sleight of hand. With Jupiter it becomes blown up, internationally, and the public can make a commentary.
I wanted to share this more-so as an anecdote of what the Moon does, rather than what it represents or “is”. The Moon distributes and catalyzes the energies of the other “stars”. The pickpocketing events seem to land around August 5-7 when the Moon is moving from late Leo into Virgo, thus forming squares to the Gemini planets Mars and Jupiter. The Moon gets near Mercury and Venus in Virgo where Mercury rules Virgo and Gemini elevating it’s themes, and Venus rules resources like the money being stolen. Mercury is retrograde putting the Pickpockets off their game, but also they were met with strategies they were not used to. One American had zapping fake metal plates, another Texas man simply threw a Pickpocket down the stairs.
So one good way to approach these writings is to think about what signs the transits fall into and where the moon will be. I often will overtly make this observation, but it also applies to your Natal Chart and you may note when the Moon makes its way over your own Moon, Sun, Mars, etc.
This week starts us feeling much better than the last few weeks. New patterns from the retrograde are making more sense and we can fall into something that hopefully works so much better for us.
