Mars Conjunct Retrograde: (Reposted from last week) This planetary cycle indicates the liberation of action. Revolutionary action which invigorates life, but can also destabilize it. During this time we become increasingly decisive toward drastic decisions. This alignment increases in strength this week and won't perfect until July 15th at 10 am EST. This alignment will be more intense for Fixed signs [Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius] and offer its energies to Earth signs [Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn] This alignment makes us rebellious toward the infrastructure of our lives which hinders the freedom of action. So be aware of destructive behavior and try to channel this energy into productive means of finding new ways to achieve your goals. This energy can simply make an ass out of one; creating insubordination where there need not be. Remember gratitude to keep balanced and grounded with this energy. This transit may see sudden electrical or mechanical problems; in Taurus this could destabilize foundations and the Earth’s crust. Implications of the alignment speak to the uncovering of secrets in leaders, or watery implications like flooding. Geographical location of course is still important to real threats.
Jupiter Sextile Mercury: (Reposted from last week) These planets ruling the big and small of life will connect in signs of a performative and expressive nature. Notice how your daily routine fits in with your overall lifestyle as defined by your beliefs. This aspect supports small decisions in context to the big picture and could feel productive or aligned in a direction.
Uranus Sextile Venus: Uranus offers its revolutionary and liberating spirit to this planet which creates desire and love. We have a resource of innovative spirit to incorporate into our manner of connecting to others and space.
Venus Enters Leo: July 11th Venus will enter Leo. This brings the planet of Love from an expression based in tenderness and protection to an expression based in confidence and pride. Methods of harmonizing, relating, appreciating, and coexisting are more assertive; a Herculean consciousness more willing to use offense than defense. The importance of aesthetics becomes louder, feeling dignified in a partnership becomes more of a priority.
Venus Opposition Pluto: Although this effect will likely already begun to take effect as early as last week, once Venus enters Leo the aspect will become much more distinct. Venus in this place demands respect in partnership and to be recognized for its greatness, however Pluto in Aquarius will expose all the underhanded, forgotten, or dirty laundry. There can be a meeting between groups and their leaders which exposes improper financial allocation, overindulgence, laziness, or passiveness. Possibly on Friday the 12th we see a distinct event.
Mars and Uranus Square Mercury: This aspect will build in strength later in the week and will not peak. There is a subtle import of the Mars/Uranus rebellious action energy into Mercury’s function. So there may be a light motivation to break out of one’s routines. You will not do so.
Saturn Square Jupiter: A few weeks ago I spoke to Saturn holding the dream and devotion to something pure and good, where the Gemini energy wants to be free to experience. An opportunity to grow in our Gemini house conflicts with the restriction in the Pisces House. This will not be perfect until around August 19th.

The Moon in Leo - July 8-9: Leo Moons find emotional space on a basis of dignity and playful openness. Remember how intuitive play time was as a child? It’ll more than likely never be like that again, but it’s a level of presence and blissfulness to strive for. That ability for intuition and creativity to intertwine as a child effortlessly integrating the masculine and feminine.
The Moon in Virgo - July 9-11: This Moon will impose a need to be productive. This can be motivating or heavy. Devotion to and legitimate greater good involves as much self-care and self-love as it demands work.
The Moon in Libra - July 12-14: This Moon will follow up on themes from the Cancer New Moon with some problem, delay, conflict. This Moon wants a space of beauty and harmony.
The Moon in Scorpio - July 14: This Moon prefers raw and real, or secrecy for its emotional space. These days will present some conflict in connection; between what is and isn’t illuminated.
With planets moving into Leo we start to move from signs of personal need, to interpersonal manifestation. There is energy building and we are nearing a peak. The desire for liberation with Mars/Uranus pairing with the interpersonal exposing of Venus Pluto creates an environment in which something has to shift. Soon it will be time to get it off your chest. Keep a strategic mind here. What is it you really want from a situation when any resentment, envy, or other “low emotions” are out of the way?
This sky creates a harder ability to hold back, be responsible, and remember a humble gratitude. So this helps the mind expand it’s horizons and feel open to new potential. The problem can come with something like— being passive aggressive or making little covert protests within the structure of our lives; in all our relationships. This only diminishes our ability to elevate our situations.
Do not prematurely dismantle things in spite, but do expect to make your needs and boundaries known. Showing up with integrity only improves our bargaining power when the time is right. Remember your dedications and devotions along with your right to dignity.
