Extending the Vision
February 19th through 25th

Sun Enters Pisces: Pisces season begins! The sign of transition between Winter and Spring. From the Cold and Wet ice and snow which packs, breaks down, and slows down; to the Warm and Wet rain and humidity which initiates growth. This sign possesses both qualities. So Pisces has a side which is contemplative, tender, and slow as well as a side which is industrious, artistic, and dreaming. We gradually move into that industrious side as the weather will start to warm up and the ground will soften, so that the seeds may come out of dormancy and burst through the ground.
Sun Conjunct Saturn: Expressive matters, leadership, and representation is approached more seriously. The beginning of Pisces season and its energy with Saturn present means our dreaming and vision of what life could be like will be met with realism and practical sense. This seriousness and consideration for responsibilities will either kill the eroticism of fantasy or give it a foundation to continue growing. This also starts a new cycle in relation to the responsibilities and long-term goals of our Solar/Sunny nature. Our creative method, creative projects and sense of purpose will be primed for renewal and new intention; this occurring in relation to the Pisces House. This inter-planetary reset (Sun/Saturn) primes us to set new intentions. Intentions for things like the long-term growth and stability of creative projects/creations; our role as a leader; our relationship to fatherhood and father figures; the mental and physical structures around our creative vision and sense of purpose.
Venus Conjunct Mars: Renewal and new intention around desire. Desire can be thought of as having two sides as described by these planets. Appreciation and the building of sexual and creative energy with Venus. Mars, who invokes the sense of want which chooses discontentment so we have the energy to initiate action. So consider what you like and the behaviors it motivates you to engage. There may be a reset in this affair oriented in the Aquarius house. In Aquarius, desire and “what we like” taps in with our visionary nature and what makes us unique. We are effected by the communities we take part of so desire is reset within that basis.
Full Moon in Virgo: Another culmination in the books. The previous New Moon where intention was set is the Aquarius New Moon on February 9th. You may reflect on this timing for the cycle of it all, to see what is culminating. Virgo and Pisces can be heavy and anxious, but also incredibly light and pure. The signs operate either from anxious need to please or devotional sense of service. Intention in Aquarius has a basis in our uniqueness and idealizing vision for life. That intention culminates with this Virgo Full Moon to connect our vision with the work it takes to make our dreams reality. We also must consider how our vision is effected by our communities.
Venus & Mars Square Jupiter: Desires becomes inflated. The position of Saturn will make for some regulation, but if things get out of hand that turns into prompt consequence. Be mindful, but let your desire motivate you so that the energy is cultivate productively. Pay attention to tension between the exciting new progressions with the established and comfortable. Like young visionaries introducing new methods which can disturb the existing powers and processes. New software, rules for etiquette/engagement, organizational systems, how we’d like to be treated, however it manifests based on your chart and life.
Mercury Enters Pisces: From February 23-March 9th. Pisces is Mercury’s Fall, meaning it is a more difficult position for the planet ruling functions of precision, logic, and daily tasks. Pisces is tapped into imagination, wonder, and grander vision. We may apply this imaginative nature and vision to the smaller parts of life. It can be good to double-check, consider the most logical decision more consciously, but be open to intuitive sense. Maybe we will find a new method which feels more organic.

The Moon in Cancer Feb 19-20: The Moon brings it back home for an elevated emotional connection. In Cancer the Moon is able to shed and renew like the crab molting its shell in order to grow; a vulnerable process, but required.
The Moon in Leo Feb 21-23: Leo is opposite to Aquarius where we currently have Pluto, Mars, Venus, and Mercury. The Moon making an opposition to these planets will make these days much more exciting when interacting with others. There may be some secrets that come out, some teasing or playful nature, a vulnerability between the leader and the people. We should be open-minded here. We may meet others with vivacity. Be wary of dogmatism in yourself or by others. We can become aware of social equity here, but should not act out in lieu of better strategies. Sometimes we feel we are fighting the good fight, but can simply be lowering ourselves to that level. Unless you have nothing to lose then this is a period to take advantage of open-minds with a positive attitude.
The Moon in Virgo Feb 24-25: The Full Moon, as we went over. This Moon generally comes with more nervous energy and a critical nature. It is good for funneling energy into improvements, cleaning, and elevating.
Your visionary nature is called forth. Even in the two weeks prior to this week we have been building our vision for the future. This week presents more opportunities to take practical steps and set more intentions. Around creative projects, how we want to meet the world, what our mission is, etc. The realism is present and it will be up to you to ensure this doesn’t kill your drive, but without having to turn to delusions and narcissism to compensate. Healthy narcissism is real and we need it to ensure our vision stays cohesive. Without healthy narcissism the vision of everyone around us will dilute our own. Some alone time, probably during the Cancer Moon February 19th and 20th will be good.
